This is my favorite video. The penguin makes me laugh every time. "And now, for the first event in the penguin olympics...professional hopping!"

More of the zoo...
This little monkey only stood about a foot tall, and wasn't afraid of anything. He came right up to the window, put both paws out to touch my hands, and stuck his tongue out at me. He is called a Goeldi's Monkey.

Greeley, Co Take Two
This has been the coffee shop of choice this week in Greeley. They not only have coffee and internet, but a wide selection of cards, books, and little knick knacks.

The late, the great, Buffalo Bill Cody
On our way out of Golden, we stopped at the graveside of Buffalo Bill Cody.
The view from the parking lot was fantastic, quite the panorama of mountains, with the city of Golden laid out below.
The view from our house for the last week was a little nicer to look at...
The view from our house for the last week was a little nicer to look at...
Supposedly there is a good sized buffalo herd at the bottom of the hill, but we never had time to take a look.
Bill Cody was a master mason in the Masonic Lodges of Colorado...
Colonel William Frederick Cody was born February 26, 1846, died January 10, 1917, and was buried on Lookout Mountain above the town of Golden, CO on June 3, 1917.
He was a member of the Elks Club...
His wife, Louisa Frederici (1843-1921), is buried right next to him...(apparently he unsuccesfully tried to divorce her a couple of times, and even in death couldn't get her to leave his side...)

As you can see, he really is buried on top of a hill. It's just a bit of a walk to the top, and the grave is all fenced in and surrounded by a grove of pine trees.

Golden, CO...Thursday...
I am so great at taking self-portraits I astound myself and everyone around me!
Today we taught our last workshops, set up the lights, got our fourth coffee of the week (the people at Buffalo Moon know our drinks already), and ate at an American-German restaurant.
That's right, American-German. The cafe is run by Helena and Wolfgang. She waited on us while he cooked, and both of their accents are so thick! She said she would make snitzel "like mama would make" and called everyone sweetheart. "You want I should take your picture?" There were some funny photos on their wall, ( I couldn't resist)and some great ones of Austria and such.
There is the neatest aquarium in the school. It's full of salmon! We rehearsed with the entire set tonight, and the kids are excited about the show...they just have a little trouble remembering their entrances and lines...
I had fun playing games with the skunks while they waited patiently for the rest of the show to get organized. One more day before show day!!!!
And it's below freezing here! Lots of snow. We've been using another vehicle since ours is two wheel drive. Thanks for your faithful viewing! Tune in next time for..."The Same Show in a Different Town!"

Our Second Week Out
We are now in Golden, Colorado, home of the mountains, wind, and more cute coffee shops. This week we are living in a renovated barn. It's our own little home away from home...above the horse stalls.
Trixie is one of our neighbors, and is 8 months pregnant, due in March.
Dusty is our other neighbor, and is Arabian. He wouldn't let me touch him. Finicky.
A rather askew view of our living room. There is a gas fire place, and very limited wireless access.
Steve is working on reports in our kitchen. The stairs lead up to the coldest room in the house, which also happens to be Steve's. It's sometimes colder inside that room than it is outside...
Our purple curtained bathroom...
And finally...my very own bedroom! I'm not really sure why there are two beds...I'm really not that fat...
We have a busy week ahead of us with nine workshops ontop of regular rehearsals, but as long as I have my coffee, everyone shall survive!
